Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our financial transactions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting tasks, from preparing financial statements to maintaining accurate records. This is a full-time position based in our Jumeirah 1 office in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain accurate financial records.
* Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of transactions.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting regulations and standards.
* Assist with audits and prepare necessary documentation.
* Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting within contracting companies in the UAE.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Must be ready to join immediately.
